matchbook notepad tutorial

While I was wasting some time on Etsy yesterday I came across some members selling some matchbook notepads. Super cute they were too. So cute in fact I nearly bought some but then I realized I might, just maybe, have the skills and materials to make these myself.

They are super simple to make and would be a good craft to do with kids, especially because you can use up all your scraps of paper, so I wrote up a tutorial for making them. Though, honestly, they are so simple they hardly require a tutorial. (Can't believe I was actually going to buy these)

Nonetheless here are the links::

This is part of a bigger project that I am working on for the kids. More on that as soon as the other art supplies arrive.

Happy making!!

these are so cute!

Ohhhhh, these are so great! I think I'll make some, too. Though the ones with The Small Object on them are very tempting.

Forget sewing books anymore! These are so easy and so very cute to boot. Thanks for sharing. As always, your craftiness is inspiring!

Thank you for that wonderful tutorial! These are really cute :-)

What a fun little project! Thanks for the tute.

Thanks for your tutorial. This seems to be the in thing right now, matchbook notepads and matchbook albums. I first saw the albums and created my own and then realized that it was also great as promotional material. I have my own tutorial on my website for Photoshop: http://www.mcuniverse.com/Matchbook-Album.1888.0.html

The little notepads are adorable; thank you!

Wonderful! Thanks for the instructions. They will be a great way to use up my paper scraps AND work as promotional items for my Etsy shop!
