Is it okay to add the suffix -tastic again ? Will it ever be cool again ? Probably not. Still, look what I made. (I know I saw something similar on another craft blog but I can't remember where or when so apologies for my bad memory.)
Let's have a look at the evidence shall we...

Very cool, except Floyd doesn't like them, not pointy enough or some such rubbish.
Thanks to Martha for the idea, it was a craft-tastic way to spend a Sunday afternoon. 

for the greater good

So, by now I am probably the last to tell you that Superbuzzy has the greatest new selection of fabrics and that Kitty Craft is back open (thank you, thank you, thank you) but in the interests of sharing and for the good of the global economy I would like to introduce you to the following three eBay sellers. First of all there is Boqinana. There is A LOT of stuff here so you have to search but I found these little gems.

Secondly we have milco tiger which has a small but cute selection. My personal favourite from this shop.(yup- bought some) And of course, I saved the best for last, nuno.plus. I feel safe in letting this secret out to the world at large now I have placed my order. They do some great fabrics that I haven't seen before plus the very cute Japanese fairy tale lines.
And this, my fellow crafters is why I have no money. Enjoy.

mr.monkeysuit - the return and an ode to pocketsize

Well, I won't go on a long and boring explanation of why I haven't blogged for so long....it's because I'm lazy. There.
Now what I really want to talk about is my friend Claire and how great she is. She is really great. Claire has been making and sending us beautiful things for so long now I thought it was about time I should share them.

I don't know what it is, but I know I like it. 

She made the bunting for her wedding and sent us some (yes I still feel guilty about not going) and she bought the bigger bird on the left. This is what I look at every night as I rock Cissy to sleep and I never get bored of thinking what a cute collection of things they are.

She made these two wall hangings, one for each babe, from little patches she got while on honeymoon in Latin America. I just love all the little details....

She totally gets this thing I have about birds at the moment.

This was one (of many) presents she sent to us for Christmas. It is for Floyd's Cafe, his very own menu, which he passes round to us, asks us what we want to order and then brings us pretty much the opposite. (We have repeatedly complained about the service but to no avail.)
   

When on a recent trip Japan she bought this little gem for Cis. It deserves to be framed rather than worn.

All these plus so many more presents that she has given to us fill our home and our hearts with joy so to you little Claire I say,
